Their was another one in Custom Rodder Magazine a few years back that was a green or blue. It was nice but the proportions of the Copperhead was better. The picture that you posted looks like it is chopped more then Billy's.

Like to see more pictures if you have any.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

I haven't seen that Custom Rodder one. Did you check these project pictures:

I know the owner/builder and he just did the bodywork and rest of the car based on magazine articles and this picture:

I remember it, it was a very dark green, with light green interior. youre right, it was nice, but didn't quite have the flow of kopperhead. (sorry cant remember the year, probably somewhere around 96-97ish)

A buddy of mine owned it for awhile and he sold it last fall at the KC Goodguys to someone up in the KC area. Got pretty good money for it too! The original chop was done by a guy here locally (kinda crude) and Russel (the guy who bought it) finished it to what you see here. The interior is black & white tuck and roll. Had a generic small block with all the comforts (a/c, p/s, p/b) and on air bags (obviously). If he kept it, the trunk was going to be dealt with supposidly.

Hey gonmad, can you talk to your buddy and Russel and see if can get as many pics of the '49 and post them on here?

I've decided that this is the one i'm gonna use as the model to chop mine.

    Cheers
