KNUX! You really got me there 53burb. You mean you weren't trying to be annoying, wow what a talent. KNUX!!
I have to agree with it most likely being a pro heist. And most likely stolen to order for shipment overseas. Into a waiting trailer, then to a container to be shipped to a country with a lot of expendable cash and a high demand for rods and collectable cars with little regard for how they got there.
53burb. We met a couple'a years back, very nice guy! I just thought you were Canadian eh? KNUX! And I agree, I hate to hear people say, across the board, that cops are slime. Just as in politics, there are good and bad. Granted in politics, the ratio is WAY OUTTA WACK!! Without cops who are, by in large, GOOD, we'd all be in deep doodie. I'm not a generator and shotguns kind of guy that lives in a shack in the mountains, so I like cops.
KNUX! ( I just wanted to type it one time...) As for the car... out of sight out of mind. I don't know where it was stashed, but the older that cars get they go from being appliances, to something cool, to something that tempts people... it's sad. Hope he had insurance and a list of things like the engine numbers. We were at Famoso once and this guy came up and claimed a car as his old one and it had been stolen a looong time ago, so you never know where they will turn up. If it wasn't tweekers, it'll probably be on a boat.
Thanx for the kind words Jeem. It was kool meeting you. I am American, born here in Los Angeles, but raised in Toronto. As for the others that like to talk shit, me not being one of them here on the HAMB, maybe you get your frills on doing so. i just say this one thing. Ya haven't met me yet in person, but the power of being behind a keypad is so manly......KNUX!
Vaphead. I am the type that will always have your back bro. When it comes to the law. I have learned it is best not to say KNUX...but to say "yes sir" and "no sir". It makes the situation more smooth with respect. KNUX!
Just yanking your chain 53 burb, no need to get bent out of shape. I didn't know what the heck it meant either.
I would say something, but my Gun Control Policy get's threads locked up. So, The question is.... Where the heck did this actually happen? Denver or Boise? and did anyone ever actually get a photo? And one last thing. knux.
Lux Blue. That made me laugh. It made me feel so small....... luciomduran, I hear ya bro. Nobody really does. Group hug?

I will keep an eye out at the Lawrence Kansas swapmeet this weekend.........would it be possible to post the guys cell phone number in case it is crossed on the highway? I am sure that it is in a trailer, but someone found a racecar in KC a while back at a truck stop and the "truckers" called the owner and the ball was rolling with out the "police" involved.
I'll keep an eye out for it up this way. Damn, I think I will hide another master cut-off switch on the Chevy II! The Coy's swap meet is at Bandimere this weekend too.......hmmm....
I have a switch that cuts off my electric fuel pump .If I feel uncomfortable parking somewhere I flip it off . You can drive away but only as far away as the gas in the carb will take you . (hint: remember to flip it back on when you try leave)(don't ask me how I know that )
Eric,I'll keep an eye out here on the northern border (Colorado). I'll also pass it around to my bros in the club "RoadKnights". A pic would be nice. I think that the "Make My Day Law" should apply to cars & trucks too, not just your house!
e-mailed the craigslist link to some friends.... ya never know. btw,as far as chasing the car down, how do you know the guy ain't armed? haven't found a car yet worth dying over... bet the car went south in a mexican otr truck...
Damn that sucks...Too close to home for me as i live maybe 5 minutes away, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Pretty Ballsy person to steal a Rod though.
