Does anyone know where to get the Purple Nitrite Gloves made by Kimberly Clarke that they use on Two guys garage?
I prefer a stretchy nylon glove that has a nitril coating on the fingers. Doesnt tear, like a second skin, works great on really nasty jobs. Bought Mine at ACE hardware.
my Cornwell guy has them on the truck.... I like the nitril myself, I'm trying to develop a latex allergy (happens from prolonged contact)
I have had the best luck with black lightning gloves bought from Murray Motersports 763-295-0811. They hold up extremly well and are hard to rear.
These? http://www.ekimberlyclark.com/KLEENGUARD_G10_Blue_Nitrile_Gloves_Medium_p/kcc57372.htm or these? link holy expensive gloves batman Robert
I forget to put the damn things on until my hands are trashed. Then I go to take a break...scrub up...grab something to drink. I swear I am going to put them on right away and....then I llok down and my hands are trashed. Son of a________~!
I was looking for the Purple ones with black cloth on the back , they seem like they would give more finger dexterity.
As a tattooist, I like nitrile as well, no reactions like latex and they protect from blood borne pathogen longer. A latex glove is only good for about 4 minutes of protection. I buy medical grade powder free nitrile gloves buy the case and get them at Costco. The ones at places like Harbor Freight are NOT medical grade and alot of the time it's the powder that helps start reactions and warts due to latex over time.
I am a Paramedic by trade, and I prefer the Nitrile for the dexterity issue also. My employer is too cheap to buy nitrile even when confronted with patients that have a latex allergy. I used to get them from the hospital till they decided we weren't worthy of them either and put latex ones in our resupply room. I have bought the ones from Harbor freight for painting, and they do hold up well. The one thing I don't really like about nitrile is the shelf life, if you don't use them quickly, the nitrile seems to harden a bit and tear easy.
