KooL, thanks for the pics. Always enjoy seeing pics of Kev's place! Seems like there's always something that hasn't been shown before.
Is it just me,....or is the photo quality MASSIVELY increasing lately???? My hot rod mag memories NEVER looked THIS GREAT????
Sneakyfink!! I started training for it when I was a child. Wow! just checked out Dave's site...good stuff. Thanks for comparing me with a pro. Although I dont think Dave would like it.
When I actually have people who want em'... But then again I cant even give away prints to certain people cause Im too lazy to go to the lab and print some up. I still owe prints to Mazooma, Rob, Tetanus Shot, and I forget who else.
Thanks for the pics photofink.....My girlfriend really loves the one of me on my front tire....its her new screen saver. They all came out great and Kev sure knows how to throw a party, cant wait for Primer NATS!!!
Dude, you would probably have way more fun at the Primer Nats if you actually DROVE your car there. The Yak on the street is, it was trailered from Pasadena to Ventura. It was refreshing to see Kendra driving her Cad powered Hot Rod to the show and everywhere else. Jimmy White
Yeah Scotty! WTF?! All that talk about how fast it is etc...was that just around the Starbucks drive thru?? I think we need a grudge match between Kendra and Scott at the drags?
Well fellas...I got alot of guff at the show. I do feel bad everytime I load it up on a trailer. The car is still not register or lincensed. Ive been crossing my fingers everytime I drive it. Ive been working on getting a title so i can actually drive the thing legally. Ive been in a couple close calls already that have spooked me. My other main concern is that its an investment to me. I have a few other cars that I will drive anywhere you want. I really hope the guy that does buy it can afford to beat the shit out of it. I cant...so sorry
I could let him get half way down the strip then floor it...maybe then he won't feel too bad when I beat him? K
Why did you build it then, Dont we build cars to drive? I can guarantee that the Maroon 32 Roadster we built was 10 times nicer then your car, and I drove it like I stole it!! I drove that thing all over California!! We drove the Kandy Tangerine RPU, and the 32 to San Francisco for a show. It is funny to me I drove the Blue Flathead coupe to the show, and it had never been on the freeway before. I had the best time listening to that flathead sing in my ears!! Jimmy White
You know...instead of being an ass to a kid whos trying to get get into building nice cars you could be helpful. See now ...Kevin just emailed me and said he could help me with registration. Thats a nice guy...
I am not being an ass, your arrogance speaks for itself!! I can recall you saying (as I was pulling into kevs bbq) " Hey there is only one blue coupe allowed at this show"!! Then I overheard you mentioning my name to, I think his name is Richard? The guy with the Caddy powered Merc. You said something about "hey that guy over there is Jimmy White from Circle City Hot Rods and I was talking shit to him". I should have handled it then, but I was being nice, not an ass! You need more skills and a slice of humble pie!! That is my advice to you. Jimmy White P.s. If you ever need help Just ask, I would be more then happy to help..
Any questions you have or help you need I'm sure Jimmy would love to help. Truly. He is the most helpful guy in hot rodding I know. Kendra
Whatever...man.. The thing about one blue model A per show was a joke. was a joke. Whay would I even care about that...And I never talked shit about you or any of your cars to Richard. What i said was the joke about the model A to him too. Anyways...I really love your cars and the work your shop puts out. I had met you before and you were a really nice guy. Maybe I see you at the next show and hopefully Ill have my car all legal by then so i wont have to trailer it.
Jimmy is the probably the most "non-ass" in the Hotrod industry. You've got a bad read on him Sloppy...Unless,of course, you ruffle his feathers! shame shame... Keep in mind Sloppy...a joke said, isn't always the same as a joke heard,my grandfather used to say...
I am over it dude!! I was standing within ear shot of what you said to Richard and that wasnt it. I pretty much heard what you said. Good luck getting your car registered, enjoy it and drive it man!! Thanks for the compliments. Jimmy White
