I talked to LowSprings yesterday,and he told me he wasn't gonna do it anymore. His reason was that not enough guys showed up! I went once and had a great time. Fun for the whole family. It was at Leg Lake in Montebello,right off the 60 frwy. You guys who went know where i'm talking about.
He said I could take over and put it on,if I wanted to.
What are your thoughts? I would love to put it on. Same place,same aproximate month and time.
If I start setting this up,would you SoCal guys come? Please give me your thoughts. If you're car's not running...COME ANYWAYS!!!

It's gonna be hard to come up with a Saturday when there isn't something else going on. I just looked over the HAMB calendar,but that doesn't include many other things going on that don't get posted.
I'm up for suggestions for dates. If it is a hit,i'll plan next years well in advance.
Any help would be appreciated.
I want to keep it as much a HAMB thing as I can,but that doesn't mean HAMBers can't bring thier buddies.
I'm gonna hit up Ryan about putting the HAMB logo on a shirt for the BBQ. Small,on the front,with some kind of BBQ refference on the back.

 

Good idea. I have been Jonesing for some chili. Good excuse to brew up a pot.

 

i hit the one at eldorado park and had a blast. i wouldnt rolling 'up north' for a gigger and some of phili's chilis

 

I'm not gonna change the place or the set up. I just want to know how many guys would come.
Still gonna be pot-luck.
Doesn't matter if your car's not running.
Bring the kids,chairs,canopys,frisbees,football,whatever...
Just a laidback good time.

oh yeah, back in the day. that was the 2nd HAMB BBQ at Eldorado Park, the first one had 10 cars.

 

We went to this a few years back...it was fun..Im sure you could count me and a few of my friends in.(depending on the date) haha

I truely believe it can be a success. When I went to the last one,there was only 12,000 HAMBers. Now there's almost 50,000!!! The odds are much better...
