Yeah, the roadster is sick. If anyone is going to see it, I saw it this morning and you HAVE to wait through the credits. There is another scene at the end you gotta see.
I gotta see it know! I wonder what she is asking him? "Experience in lubeing a rear end" Oh hell my mind is in the gutter...
Okay that looks interesting. But I REALLY am looking forward to seeing The Dark Knight. Batman rules and The Joker is Spooky. I like things that are Spooky...
I wish they would have added a Duece roadster in the movie "CARS"... can't get americana as that. Picture a scene where Lightning mc queen is racing through the desert ( which it took place most of the time ) and he runs accross some whily ADHD hyper type teenage 32 roadster who want to take a shot at him. They have a quick race at a Muroc type setting , dunno what for,but could sort the details out later..anyways!!! Just a thought!
It is details like this that make an expected kick ass movie all the better. Hitting up the late late showing tonight, to avoid the people who talk during films.
I do assignments at our local theater. I get paid to write down the previews! It is in 4 screens at our theater and the first 2 showtimes sold down to just the front rows of seats available. The 3rd and fourth showtimes almost sold out. I didn't get to sit and watch it, but I'm planning on watching it next week. Or maybe I'll watch t at the drive-in this weekend.
Saw the movie today at the Cine-a-rama Dome. The movie was great, even the non-comics-reader next to me (my wife) loved it! (I did have to explain to her why all the fanboys went apeshit over the last scene after the credits, though.)
I think Speed Racer might be one of those movies that requires some hotboxing in the parking lot before the movie.
My son went to the midnite show, and said it's the BEST superhero movie he's ever seen! I might go see it tonight.
Taking the kids tomorrow, i can't wait to see it. I almost took my boy today, but I thought I should wait and take them together since my girl is a gear head as well. momma might be lost though hehehe...
Per Wikipedia " Johnny Zero will cover the birth of the hot rod movement following World War II. Favreau will write and direct."
Shit, that WAS AWESOME. I got funny looks when I strated inadvertantly making moaning noises and slow pelvic thrusts when the camera zoomed in on that flathead ... jezus ,, can you imagine having that kind of setup "the number 3 cylinder is at 9% of optimum compression .." Damn.
The movie was excellent..I was surprised at how good it really was, not you're typical superhero cheeseball flick at all!! IMO they did Ironman justice, he was always my favorite superhero when I was growing up....what can I say, rust flows through these veins..LOL. And Downey has always been an excellent actor - great choice on the part of the director. And Paltro - she's a hottie. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Awesome movie! The wife loved it too and wants to see it again! They smashed the hell out of that poor Cobra.
Or you can go to bedroommedia.com and see the movie for free. Its a bootleg but will save you the 50 bux.
The movie was great. Saw it the first afteroon with my son-in-law. The roadster was just a nice unexpected bonus.
I'm gonna go see it tonight, but my friends have been talkin gabout it for a couple days, saying it's awesome. He's even rocking out to Suicidal Tendencies while working on the roadster!
Did anyone notice the two traditional motorcycles he had also. I think they were both zero engineering bikes. Very cool!
Yeah that movie kicked ass... My bro in law made me a copy the nigiht after we went to see it. My kidos loved it, and my daughter had already seen part of it at a friends and told me some about it. She was super excited to see it, but I think I was maybe a lil more excited. I'm gonna go again this time with out the kids. I know I'm a mean daddy.. but I want to see it with out interruptions so I will go in the middle of the day when noone else can. lol
Pepper Potts,Hotrods,Pepper Potts,Guns,Pepper Potts,Explosions,Pepper Potts, Fighter planes,Pepper Potts And then there wasPepper Potts. THE BEST 10 BUCKS IVE SPENT OUT OF A STRIP CLUB.
Yeah, I thought it was worth it! They didn't really over-do it with too much CGI animation. Most of the movie was him trying to work out the bugs of the suit. I thought that bike looked like a zero-engineering bike, and they did smash the hell out of that poor shelby cobra. The hot rod was pretty cool.. Cant wait to see indiana jones though!!
