Don't know if ya get to Houston much, but we have a monthly get together at the Dark Horse Tavern at 2207 Washington Ave., first Sunday of each month. You'd be more than welcome to swing on by.

Lots of D/FW people on here. There's a few of us from further up toward the OK border as well. If you ever get to Sherman-Denison give a shout.

Good to see someone else in N Texas, welcome to the HAMB. Try to make it to the deal in Propwash, that's going to be a fun one. I'll be there in my baby blue '57 Plymouth wagon.

Damn-beat me to it! Although I have to say, almost everyone in Texas that are into traditional hot rods/customs knows each other.

What are your plans for van? Check out http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB3/ usually some pix of cool vans on there...

    Welcome...from the westside (Ft Worth)

Lots of stuff going on, just be careful, every now & then someone with sensible shoes and a bad attitude will try to spoil the fun.

    Oh yea,

You might want to avoid the monthly Sat light cruise's around town.

That is unless you like camaros, mustangs corvettes and overweight
    old women in poodle skirts...

First buy a hot rod and or project. Keep reading the HAMB and attend the hundreds of events held here in Texas every year. Texas is a beautiful place with a lot of great people so pick a weekend and load up the van and go. Memorial Day weekend is coming up soon and I know there is a show in San Antonio and one in Corpus Christi if you care to make the trip. If you check around you'll probably find more show to attend. Like I said pick one and go. Good luck and enjoy your new future in Texas style hot rodding.:D;)
