    Wanted: Parts
    Location: anywhere

Need Columbia 2 speed rear end for 1940 Tudor Sedan. Prefer to have one that is already built and "road-ready" but will consider one in good shape that needs rebuild. PM or email hintons_rides@yahoo.com or email hinton1937@cableone.net

They occasionally show up on eBay; there's one listed now as Item No. 360051335403. As difficult as it is to find a Columbia axle in good shape, the controls can be even harder to find, especially the speedometer changer. That being said, a Columbia unit greatly improves a flathead's driveability, and once you've driven one you'll never want to go back:)

Having several replies and emails helping me out but I have one more question about the columbia rearend. What all years/models columbia rear end will work/bolt under the 1940 Ford sedan? Thanks for any help on this. Ronnie

I'd also like to have a 2-speed rear axle but know nothing about them. What all is missing from this one? Approximately what would it be worth?

    Thanks,

    gary

I'd take 1500 with me. Offer a grand to start with. See if he'll throw in the dog.
