    WOW---Lots of off the wall answers, HUH?----Seriously, Tex Smith of Magazine fame, could answer that one for you, email him thru Hot Rod, Rod & Custom Magazines. Since his marriage to an Australian Lady, he divides his time between fishing in Wyoming & Australia 6 months alternating.----Don

    My fifty ford has a 226 flat 6 with 3 one barrel carbs, and i'm looking for a knudsen aluminum head. It's not how fast you go, but how you go fast.

  6. I've got a 235 in my '49 Chevrolet Coupe. It's been built by Dode Martin, using an Offenhauser dual intake, Fenton split exhaust manifold, Schneider 3/4 race cam. It runs great and I like the sound through the glasspacks. :cool: Mileage to be figured out, as I own the car since a few weeks.

    I have 2 of them. One built and the other about to be built. One is going in my 53 Chevy the other is going in my 31 Ford Pickup.

    My altered is a clone of Steve Ambrose's NHRA record holder. It has a 300 Ford w/ a crossflow head.

    I guess I could mention my '33 Willys ex-gasser I found on the East Coast. I power it w/ a 305 Ford inline. See it at the Thompson Gasser Reunion.

    I brought home a Chevy Six out of a '66 Chevy II yesterday!

    I do not know the CID yet.... but in a 1700-2000# HotRod, it should just sip-gas........

    Here's my Six cylinder in my '53 Chevy
    [IMG]

    It has a very rare Rajo 6 head which allows it to run the secondary Rajo intake and thrid carb.

    Here is a quick youtube of it last week when I got new exhaust on it:
    <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i36.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid36.photobucket.com/albums/e46/ChevyGirlRox/Black%20Beauty/61d91e79.flv">

    It is in this car:

    Here are some posts I have made previously about finding the Rajo and the work I have done to the engine and the car since I acquired it last fall:

    What is this whole Rajo 6 about?

    And most recently- Am I a 'Rockstar' yet?

    37 chevy pick up. 292 6cyl with balancing, rv cam, lump ported milled head, and a 300cfm holley on an offy manifold. Runs good and lights up the tires.......Think I'll go back to a one or two barrel carb at $4/gal.
