names Kalani, we just recently transplanted from my home of Hawa'ii to Cibolo Texas near San Antonio.

I ran into this board doing some reaserch on a vehicle I bought, I realized that a lot of you members on here know this vehicle very well.

It was previously owned by "LS1wagon", no we dont know each other or have ever spoken to each other but I have read some of his topics on here most recently the truck he and his Dad's building together which is a really cool thing I wish I could have done with me Dad.

anyway I thought I'd say my Aloha's here and intro myself.

hope everybody here has a great day.

    Mahalo and Aloha.

Welcome! Not sure how big u were on Local food, but, it may be a little hard to find a place in Texas. We have some spots here in socal, Hawaiian Restaurant/Bakery and L & L. Nothing like eggs, rice, and Portuguese sausage.

    Later Bra!

    Aloha and welcome.

I was raised in Kailua and work in Seattle now. Plenty kamaainas up here. Even paddled for a while. We have an L&L, Saimin Says, & Pacific Grill all selling local grinds within a couple miles of our house. Get homesick alot but these things help.

Congrats on the cool ride. Nice thing about Texas, not so much rust, yeah?

    Yeehaw paniolo!

Howzit Kalani. What island are you from? I'm originally from Kauai and now living on Oahu. No kidding about the cost of living man. I love to see the look on peoples faces when they move here from the mainland and see the price of milk and cereal for the first time at the market here! Not to mention the price of gas always seems to stay ahead of the rest of the country. Welcome to the HAMB and Aloha from the islands.

oh eh, I get one question for the members here, sorry to ask but I cant figure it out, so please help me out here, what does H.A.M.B stand for ? Its probably written here some where in front of my eyeballs and I'm not seeing it. lol.

  22. Aloha. My name is Kalani too. I was born on Oahu and moved to the Big Island. I left to go to college, and now I can't afford to go home.:(
At least Washington state has almost as much rain as home, and awesome local kine grinds.
Funny thing, the HAMB has more members than Hilo had residents. You're going to find that the HAMB is one tight-knit Ohana.
Best of luck with your L&L.

I'm not sure, I kinda dont want to disturb the originality of the car, but the other half of me (type of person I am loving to change things) I want to have it chopped, shaved and put some 20's deep dish rims, maybe perhaps put some satin black and have some black with chromed lip deep dish rims on there.

but for now I just want to drive it and have fun and worry about "mods" later one.

anybody have any sugestions? please tell.

can some body take one of the pics I posted up and maybe photo shop some of the things I just mentioned so I can get a better idea on what it would look like please?
