Denise, if you or anyone else needs help getting room reservations let me know. I live about 10 minutes from the event site. I'll try to help out as much as I can. No....I won't PAY for the room but I'll help you find one!!!

 

Thanks sweetie. I've had my room there for a few months now. I usually take a weekend at the begining of the year, make a list of the events I want to attend and make the reservations early knowing I can always cancel if I need to. Sometimes I add a last minute event then scramble for lodging but I try to get my schedule together early enough so there's no h***les.

This is gonna be a Riot. I know the Choppers from Cleveland always attend and normally put on a neat exhibit . Last year they carved tiki's with a chain saw, the year before that they chopped a model A sedan.

 

We have been discussing whether or not we should get another keg of Warbird beer this time around for the parking lot...

 

Gonna be seeing a lot of you this year ! VLV, Indy, Boar hunting in Texas.....what next ?!?!

 

On a serious note, Be sure to check out the museum at the "Brickyard" ! its worth it !

 

Yes indeed, we'll work out the pig hunt details at Indy, I'm ready for that trip too !

My list of events I planned to attend has been trimmed down pretty short due to gas prices. Not a year to own a trailer queen I tell ya. I will try and make this one since it is close to home and all.

 

You know you wanna come down this year Aaron. See all you guys next month...can't hardly wait.

 

Just booked hotel reservation. Staying at the Motel 6. (hey, it's cheap! I've gotta save money somewhere so I can afford gas) I hope there are alot of ******s. wait... I mean no ******s. This will be my first time attending this show. I can't wait!

 

You'll have a lot of fun !

 

I just tried pre-registering, but I can't seem to get the form to print out. I'm able to just register at the show, correct?

 

I'm thrashing to get the new drivetrain in the 57 in time to make it to this show. We wouldn't miss it for anything, even $4.00+ a gallon.

 

That might be cheap by then.

2 years ago things got nutty , crazy, silly ! Tom Wise of the Road Rockets hopped in his straight axle 55 chevy and raced Keith of the Ohio Choppers with his 57 Ford g***er. Smoke,burning rubber, uncorked headers....its was fricken nuts!

All this took place right next to the Hotel. Both guys drove back, parked them,got out of their cars, and walked back to the crowd - just in time to see the local Sheriff pull up and look down at 4 tire marks and smoldering rubber on the ground ! Let me see if i can get the YOu Tube video. Its crazy !

Going to bowling green, then next weekend to rumble in Indy. Im saving my gas money now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh, nothing like dragging into traffic and nipping the curb.

 

$3.85 is pretty good.. It's over $4 bucks a gallon for regular...

The price of gas went up $1.80 in the past 14 years... then went up $1 in the last year alone. Crazy!

 

Ain't missed one yet! Its my minie vacation every year. not real far away from home but far enough away that I can feel like I'm on vacation. Always a great time.

 

Just wanted to touch base with everyone and let you all know that the Rumble is coming together fantastically! Pre-reg's are coming in like crazy, FROM ALL OVER the country & Canada!! Got word from Cindy and Klaus and they are flying in from Sweden! The vendors are really coming together well, they too are coming from all over the country and bringing a WIDE variety of goodies for everyone! More bands have been added also, GIRL bands!!!!!
