Dang, Jigger. I can't even tell what day it is so you've now rooted me solidly in Thursday. I've got to get home and get some shots of my boys' work.

  4. That happened to me the other day. I've been out of work a while and the days began to meld together. It was like being thrown into deep water at night. Very disorienting.

Cool sketches Jigger! My brother bought a 1964 Australian army issue land rover (R hand drive) when he was visiting friends down under. He had it shipped to him this past winter. He started on the rebuild, but got called back to Iraq. I can't wait to see it running again.

  12. Gee that's nice. I love the cycle fenders. Would love to see the bonnet cover, too, like in your concept.

Been awhile since I posted on the show, but smeared a little paint on a friends pit cruiser bike.

Not sure if pinewood derby cars are art but this is my entry for an up coming local show. Going for a lakes roadster look, paint is wet in this pic. I will post finished picture next week.

Great looking start to a show here fellas!

I was contracted for a product packaging design by Ms. Metal (Amy) She produces metal-flake shift knobs in various colors and wanted to produce a single cool yet functional label for a 1 pint can to place these in. It had to be simple in color restrictions to keep the cost down, but simple doesn't mean plain or boring right?

    Here it is flattened out:

Originally it was going to be more distressed and in full color so I played with more textures in the actual word "metal-flake". The end product didn't have it in there, but I still wanted to show it off since I did the work:

    More next week.

Hey Coop, love the new painting are there going to be any other elements or just the classic smokin devil? Also, are the pickguards only for Telescasters or are there going to be others for Strats and when will they be available? Thx, Tiki

Yeah, this is just the underpainting, the final piece will be many more layers of stuff.

We will be doing lotsa different guitars, these are just the first to get prototyped. I forgot to photograph the precision bass pickguards...
