I know 64 is technically the cut off, but you DID say ALLLLL the longroofs! I picked this up for my daily. Its got the big 300 inline in it that Ill be running. After all, its gonna be my daily for a reason, to save gas! Save gas and still have style! Its solid, clean and 500 bucks! Plus, Im a sucker for vertically stacked quads. 65 was the first year (galaxie) for these

Heres my idea once I get it running good. I photoshopped it once I got it home and cleaned it up. Some moons and a dump. Fresh white paint, thats it, keep it simple and clean! Ill fab up some 3 in 1 headers for dual exhaust and put on either a 2bbl or 4bbl intake.

    Monster...you can start here...

    www.dearbornclassics.com
    www.dennis-carpenter.com

I don't know of any wagon-specific companies, though...you just have to farm around for parts from different sources....

I don't have pics, but I had 2 '66 ford wagons, both had 6's in them one standard, 1 auto. Loved them both. Wish I had them now. Paid $40.00 for one and $30.00 for the other and ran one myself amd my father used the other to go 48 miles each way to work. Great cars, both of them.

Here's our '51 Pontiac Tin Woody at work. Trailer is a '46 Spartan Manor. Taken this past May in Milford MI, at the Tin Can Tourists Spring Meet.

The wagon has a 4.8L LS1/4L60E, original rear axle, front frame stub is '94 Caprice Classic. It's a nice tow car.

29eh: I have not heard anyone mention San Cobble in 35 years!! Are you talking about the "new" San Cobble or the "old one" on the Bamberton? I visited both as often as possible and later helped prepare a couble of cars for the drags at the new San Cobble. A couple of times I even towed some back with Jim's BA wrecker. Wayne.
