Dreams of Legends DVD........and smokey burnouts.

I saw this on the "Dreams of Legends" website this morning that the 4 DVD set is out now and the "previews" are very cool.........Lot's of smokey burnouts on the dragstrip and the vintage Bonneville clips.

That last one on YouTube was cool.........I liked the dragster going sideways in the end of the video....Wow........If you click on the "Skater Dater 1965" on the links to the side that will make you chuckle........I think that I lived at the top of the hill at the end of that video when I live at in SoCal at Wind & Sea.

I had the opportunity to see one of the disks from the set, The Big 6, last night. This included interviews and footage of Al Teague, Nolan White, Billy Frontuto and others. Two hours long, I really enjoyed it. I hope Charles has a booth at the GNRS, I want the complete set.

I bought the set as soon as it came out. It's great. I especially like the Bonneville/dry lakes DVD.

i got a copy a couple weeks ago
I'm not through it all yet but it seems very good

the only downfall is that its hard to hear the interviews with the music at times

 

I was thinking that the Xmas hints were working, but now I guess that I need to get it for myself.........but, I did get some cool gifts and a 40' coupe in the garage......and I was able to keep the 29' Model coupe.

I just stumbled across the website, I dont know how I missed this thread before. LOTS of really cool pictures of drag racing and land speed racing. Looks like I am going to have to get the plastic out and buy the DVD set. Maybe I should just tell the Redhead that is what I want for fathers day. LOL

It was a 4 DVD set, not just one DVD. As far as I know you can't get them anymore, but I stopped selling them due to the aforementioned audio issues.
