With those auctioneers you had to jump or ya missed em, they didn't mess around! I am digging through all the boxes, man there is a ton of stuff with it....I was a little confused on the price also, but I didn't know for sure till I seen by bill...wanna buy it for 1700??
That lathe was a killer deal I missed it I was inside waiting for all the taps and drill bits...it was nice to meet ya...
But is sure would've been a neat playhouse! I heard that the guy who got the heads prefers "late" model GM stuff. Dumb kid... go figure.
************************************************** Oh, I was keeping up with the auctioneers. I'm just one of those guys that figure I don't need to help drive the price up if it goes into where I can't afford it. If it tops out, and I can still justify spending the bucks, then I go home with the piece. Thanks for the offer to sell, but my checkbook ain't big enough at this point. Working on a second garage and have drained the finances a bit doing it. Roger
I'm pretty good buds with him...we're just like brothers. Yes, his main interests are in '58-64 Chevys and mid 90's Impalas, but he does have a 34 Ford 2dr Sedan body. I'm assuming the Ardun will eventually go into that. But he's kinda crazy so who knows what it'll end up in.
Well, I'm the dad of that crazy kid. And right now he's got a choice of Ardun candidates ranging from a '41 Willys pickup (Willys used to run hemis) to a mid-60s Nova to that '34 sedan. No telling which way he'll go. Regardless, the Ardun engine will be built. Now that's cool.
