    LOL. thats funny.

i actually like that car though. i would'nt built it for myself but i do like it.

the car with the big ole beak i'd like to see with the hood down. then i can decide if i like it or not. i'm on the fence right now.

i think i have a pretty firm idea of where i want to go with mine now but i like seeing the different ideas, so keep em coming.

Did he just shape the metal like that for the rear fenders or use something else from another car?
Also, I have 54 Chevy grill teeth and bar and was thinking about using these (I have 8 of them in perfect condition) on my 48 chevy coupe along with the 53 styled drooped buick headlights. I think a 54 Chevy styled grille with teeth setup would look nice and different in a 46-48 Chevy.

I think he just used the originals and made the rest... It looked like it from the pics. I was wanting to do that exact same thing to my fenders on mine but I'm afraid I'll screw them up.

BTW, (and this is just MY oppinion) I think he should have left the rear side windows open and they would have matched the lines to the fenders with the rounded points at the end. That's just me but it still looks good with it filled.

Man! that's an amazing work ! I thought he 's got it from an obscur Hudson , nash or something like that !

Think you're right with the quarter window, would have benn better with em because of the shape of the fenders, but looks insane anyway ! :D

imo those rears are off of something else

look at the tail light openings in the second set of pics of it (those arent extensions) unless he added the ends of another fender to his exsisting fender

Zed, that thing needs a reincarnation in plastic huh, u thinking what im thinking lol...... TRaK

Built in a few subtle mods into mine aswell!
I know its a pro street and all!
but i flipped my bumpers and moved them closer to the body
Thus had to make new filler panels and brackets etc!
Also welded the fenders to the body and made the front end a tilt unit and the hood opens backwards aswell, just a few!

The next car I build is going to be like "kats48", but maybe with a different grill or something.
that car is just about perfect!

Thanks for bringing this one back to the top again. I have a 48 Chevy that I bought back in high school and it's been sitting ever since because it needs way too much to finish. Lately I just got a S10 ext cab truck with a 350/350 combo and the rear end has about $1600 worth of work done to it and 03 blazer xtreme interior. The truck is hacked to hell (kid cut the rear cab and front bed out for a blow through to fit subs, etc), frame is cut and jacked up, etc. Instead of fixing this S10 I am thinking of pulling the interior, engine, ****** and rear end and using it on my 48. I already have a 79 Z28 Camaro front end on it so that helps some too. I think the 48 Chevy would be much better than some S10. :D

Nice car but I dont care for the color. I'd like to do some kind of Buick headlights and portholes in mine on the hood like that but with the chrome bezels of course. Here is the color I want on mine most likely with light tan interior...
