Well since flaked62merc posted his comet and it was well recieved, I guess I'll sneek in a couple pics of the two I've owned. Still have the red one, sold the black one a couple years ago. If anybody knows who owns it I'd appreciate an update on it's condition. Black car had a 200/4spd and the red one is a 289/t-5.

No worse than with V-8 coils and wasted six cylinder shocks, even without the swaybar and with 5.60's on the front.

What did you have to do to your lower control arms to get the nose that low? Spacer under the balljoint? The black car I posted had about 3/4's of an inch of compression before they hit the frame, and yours looks a lot lower.

  14. Here's my wife 62 Squire, weve added a few thing since this was taken...suitcase stereo system and bellflowers. It runs a 289, fordomatic and v8 brakes and suspension all donated by a 65 Mustang, runs and drives great.

  17. Thanks....she has really enjoyed it. We bought it to sell, but were starting to get very attached to it.

  18. This one was mine - I just sold it to a gut from Michigan who worked for Ford for 20+ years. I guess it's going home!

I was driving around yesterday looking for a place to live - a place where I could park my junk on the street if I needed to and not have the neighbors complain.

This was parked on the street a mile or two from my current place:

I think I'd fit in just fine in this neighborhood.

The mud flaps seem to say it best.

    falconmad,
Awesome Sprint! Such a neat model of vehicle. When I grow up (or older I guess...) I would love to get a 63' Sprint. I adore the round body look, but your's is one fine example.

    Artie B,
Nice wagon! Is that a '65? I had a 1964 4 door that the body was useless, but I got the drivetrain and suspension out of it. Sure are fun cars to work on.

I don't think it's 'done right' either, but thought you guys would get a kick out of it.

The semi mud flaps and 14" drop hitch for the bass boat make this a definite contender for mulletmobile of the year.
