Damn, you guys are killing me. We are going but I was going to drive the truck so the girls and I could stand in the back of it. We will be there, but probably in the truck. What time is every body planning on getting there?
Indy and DuQuoin are on my list of things to do before I assume room temperature. I'll be in Indy tonite... but not Friday. Dammit!

Any chance on doing something like this on a regular basis? Sounds like a great time but I am leaving for beatersville friday night. Hot rods and racing sounds way better than sitting around the local cruise nights.

Friday Bloomington, or Gas City, Sunday Kokomo, let me know what ya wanna do, I work Friday nights so Sat or Sun would be better for me. I think there are enough people interested in it we could make a regular deal out of it.

So... did you sit in all of them!! as for the MILE. There have only been three sprint car tracks that I have been to that... the hair on my arms stood up for no reason, everything slowed down and I looked around like someone was watching me... IT WAS HISTORY. You could actually feel the "history" in the air. Jungle park did it, Winchester did it... But it FIRST happened to me at THE MILE. It will happen to you. YOU HAVE TO GO. JD

Winchester is the second place I drove a Sprint Car, Eldora was the first. Nothing like getting thrown to the wolves.

Planning on leaving for Indy in about an hour or so. Never been to the fairgrounds and will stay with my son out near the airport for the weekend. Unfortunately no hot rod as it's in two big pieces right now. Please, no rain!
Well, it's official. They have postponed the race due to the weather. It actually looks like it will be OK tonight, but I am sure they are afraid it would hurt attendance. I talked to Roy just a bit ago, and he wants to get together on a Saturday night and we all meet at Laweranceburg for a sprint race. Sounds good to me.
dammit. i was wanting to go to this but, had a pinstriper supposed to do my dash tonight. he bailed last minute . so i decided i would go to the fairgrounds to cool down....good thing i checked this..keep me informed of the next one tracy. anyone wanna stripe my dash tonight??
