some *****in cars,glad to see it was a great turn out,its not paso but we all should be thankful that it continues,we could have lost it altogether.

 

Great pics, some cars in there I never got to see at the show. Paso is dead and buried in my book, and I will always miss it. Santa Maria is a completely different gig in every way, and I did not care for it very much and will probably not be back. Keep the pics coming though as I missed seeing a number of good cars due to how crowded it was. I'll keep the rest of my comments about the show for the comments thread posted elsewhere.

 

GREAT shots! Thanks for taking the time and effort to post the photos. Looks like there were some awesome cars in attendance.

 

The show is on my "one of these days" must do list. Your pictures make me want to go sooner than later. Thank You.

Alright,,,so here's what I thought of the show...was it Paso? Not even close...but that's fine. PASO IS DEAD. I miss it....but times change. I'm thankful to have a replacement at all.

The Santa Maria venue is completely different and while everyone keeps comparing it to a GreedyGuys show, it's not. The fairgrounds may make feel that way,,,,but the rest is different.

The CARS and the PEOPLE are what make the show. Hell...the Beatniks area alone could have been a show...and builders who thrash day and night to debut top notch cars like Gambino and Mugford deserve thanks. Do we ever hear one of our own saying "I'm gonna work day and night to get this ready for the next GG show!"??

Enough of that, though. I can't tell you how many great people I met...and I never have as much time as I want to talk to them or all my friends who I only see at shows. Finally met HAMBer Cleatus...great talking to ya. Dinner was interesting, huh? Partied with all my friends on Friday and Sat...that alone was worth the drive. Glendale...you JD pushing fool...great hanging with you and Alison. And thanks all my other friends along with everyone else who sacked up and went when gas prices **** balls and there's uncertainty about the new venue.

Point is...make it fun and it will be. I'll be there next year and the year after.

dinner was a blast cleatus was super fun. i think i may have ran cleatus wife off a bit with my shiv talk. i'm still tripped out about your buddie hangin out at my house before and me not rembering it. and as far as pushin the j.d. i quess you don't want to hang at on the nights that the only thing we drink stuff that is flammable. if it don't burn we don't drink it.
