L.A. Roadster Show Roll Call..Who's going...

MonkeyBusiness and I are coming from the Virginia.. Will be there Tuesday AM are there any cool happinings earlier in week ..

 

jackandeuces, the open house at socal on friday is defiantly getting to be the must attend pre-event spectacular, I'll be at both, love jimmy shine an rummaging through the bits on sat. morning

 

My favorite show of the year. Will be in the swap area bright and early on Friday (if you want swap deals, don't even think about Saturday or Sunday). Not sure if I'm bringing my Hawaiian '32 3-window or channeled '32 Cabriolet to sell, or both. Some of that old Henry Ford iron has to go . . .

 

Flying in from burnaby british columbia with my son. What could be a better fathers day weekend.

 

never been. that is a long fucking drive in a 76 Volvo with 200,000 plus miles from the Bay Area,

my buddy has a motor to pick up down south. he tried to con me into going that weekend to pick it up. he wants to go get it and drive back quickly. he was disappointed to hear that if I went I'd have to be at the roadster show for at least 4 or 5 hours.

he is also a numbnut that thought it was the Grand National Roadster Show. how the fuck does a HOT ROD guy not know what the LA Roadster show is?

Will there be a HAMB meet????

Wasn't there a HAMB last year or two years ago??

I always carry some heavy and rusty parts, when i see a HAMB sign and on the way
back i can't find it then.....

You sound like me!!!----It has always been my "dream" to drive my 32 roadster all the way to the East coast up to Maine & follow the color changes South to Florida, checking out all the great spots along the way!---But as time & wife's health won't allow this to happen anymore, I can still reflect on the many miles already traveled across the USA (300,000) in my younger years!
You will not be disapointed when & if you make the trip to the L.A.Roadster show in Pomona, Ca., this is truly the "mecca" of open car exhibition (600 plus) every Fathers Day each year!----Don

 

Be there Friday thru Sunday, taking the bird. If I wasn't working the show in York Pa., I would have liked to have driven my new roadster, but maybe another time. Haven't driven a roadster to the show since 86. No time.

never had the juevos rancheros, but I loves me the el merendero. I always chill with my dad at the show, but he just told me my mom made reservations for Hawaii that weekend. Oh well, I guess there are worse places to be.

I'm coming out from Texas to the show with a few friends. Not driving a hot rod this time though, because I have to pick up a roadster body at the show.

Look for three assholes with beards and Texas accents. hahaha

the preferred parking show, with a look around the dealer displays.
