A Riv will be my next car. If it wasn't for the stupid gas prices, I'd buy one now for my dailey driver. Coolest factory custom ever.

Here's one for ya, it's on Supremes now, but laces for the Lowrider Magazine April '08 cover and feature. My friend Jelena Jensen was more than happy to pose with my '65 Gran Sport. Woo hoo!

Don't the door skins just have a bunch of screws holding them on? Is that what you are talking about?

Mine is finally back from paint... Turned out really nice. Just need to lower the back end and finish up the new interior...

And yes... the door set up really sucks (I cut a couple of small access panels in the insides of mine while it was apart)

This thread can be an object lesson in design for us all. Whether it's a Model A sedan or a 65 riv, a great design can be improved or ruined real easy. Good examples of both here.

Thank you very much, and likewise! (always thought black was the best color for them). I do have more pictures, but not accessible right now from where I am.
The tailights are '54 Merc, and they fit surprisingly well in the end of the quarter. I just made a "shelf" inside the quarter, and the lights are bolted through the bottom onto it. There's a reflector type material (flourescent light lens from Home Depot) that was cut, heated, and bent to fit the inside curve of the lens, so you don't see straight through to the bulb.
    The top's chopped two inches.

I think thats the only shot of that car I made. The pic was shot at the Turkey Run in Daytona last year.

    Thanks for the reply.

Hey guys a little off topic, what to you riviera owners get for gas mileage? I only had mine on the road for a day before the camshaft decided to eat itself.
