Just brought home a 51 Ford 2 door.......not ran since 69, with some type of Y block in it....pretty solid little car...for my wife Pat...but she likes a 49/50 better..........anyone in the N. Texas area want to trade or sell the necessary parts to change it over? At least the front end parts?...

Plenty of my***** on this site if anyone is interested...a few ole NSS cars.

BTW...after pulling the rear seat, crawling thru and un bolting the latch for the trunk..we found a disassembled 56 Chevy 265 in the trunk. The car is now powered(well not under it's own power, but under the hood) by a Y block and 3 speed. Other than the rocker panels, lower front fenders and a bit in the trunk, there is dam near no rust. Hardly a dent in the thing...a little whoopie in the drivers door...one broken hood hindge......and all of the trim in good shape except the drivers door trim, which is missing. But, Pat really wanted a 49/50.........am looking for the parts to make it appear as such...like I said...will trade or buy.
We now have a pretty nice 63 Fairlane Hardtop that will be for sale soon and a 65 Barracuda........rollers.
We sold everything that we had for the 55 Chevy last month, including an extra frame with disc brakes and complete custom exhaust.......along with an extra front end for the other 55 car and frame.
Looks like cleaning out time over here. ........but am heading up country next weekend to pick up a nice 65 Dodge Coronet 440 hdtp.
May make a driver out of that one, or sell it to a customer for another NSS race car.

They are both rough as a cob.......but if you need one for your collection...lemme know...I can make do with one of them for a wall hanger.

Yea, we are pretty stoked about it...have been "lurking" here with my 63 Galaxie NSS racecar for many years........I have been trying to buy this dam car for over 10 years. A dam shame the 50 was sold to the crusher earlier...I just did not know that they were going to be sold. It was already one fine "gasser" style............the 51 sure is a Stoogy little********, but has always been one of my favorites...Dad had a 50 and a 51 way back when......
It will NOT be flat black........and I may even put one of our 427s in it.....all that I know for sure now is that it will be the same color as our race car...and will be built with only one purpose...for Pat to drive......anywhere, anytime and as she stated a while ago...no humdrum engine either..."I want it to GO"...

please GOD, do not let me get carried away with this one........I do not need it to go 150 or so........140 will do.
