  4. Great photos! The best coverage of the Antique Nationals I have seen. I especially enjoyed the ones of my car. Thanks a lot! I don't get around very well so I saw the cars through your camera lens. Thanks again!

    thanksfor sharing the pics

  7. It is the Orange/Red lakes modified with a Riley 2 port with dual Winfield carbs. You posted 4 photos of it, I think you were with Crazydaddyo. Actually the car is RED!! anyway that is what I paid for but the painter thinned the paint with Budwiser or something.

YES!!!!! I wondered if that was the same Bill I met! It was a pleasure to meet you... I LOVE that car!! Seriously one of my favorite cars there. I couldn't stop oogling all over it! HAHA! :D Very nice job! I was amazed when I saw that you can actually squeeze two people in it! HAHA! :D

  10. Actually, it is closer to a 1 1/2 man car, you should really be GOOD friends to ride in it or it is a good car to take your halfassed friends for a ride!

This little modified was run by Chuck Johnston, that's him in the black ball cap, former auto shop teacher Corona del Mar HS in So Cal. They put the motor in on Saturday and were torquing the heads in the pits. Didn't quite figure out his dial in though as he dialed a 15.70 (or there abouts) and ran a 14.50 (I think) just a tad too fast. They actually won this event in their bracket class a couple years ago at Palmdale before it was painted.

It appeared as if there were several cars there that were actually being road raced! Very cool!

Man, I'll say something else... It's not everyday that you see Whizzers and scooters drag race! HAHA! One guy had to pedal to get up to speed... that was AWESOME!!

I like Fontana better. Better facility and closer to me. Not as hot.

Yes, Thanks. I'd love to have one of those instead of the one I'm running.

Why yes I do! That's Bob's (can't remember his last name) Hupp Mobile. That thing sounded awesome too!

  29. I liked Fontucky better. not as Hot, actually there was a cool breeze all day. The track surface is much better, not covered in dirt and sand. I think it could grow more at this location. And during the lunch break you could see the road race cars over at the big track doing their thing. my 2 cents
