I want to learn how to pinstripe and airbrush . I have never done either , the question is what should I get to start out with . I don't need the top of the line BUT I don't want junk either . I looked at compressores but which is better , tank or tankless ? Looking for a kit and where to get it . As for pinstriping I would like a kit with a DVD to show how to do it . Good starter kits would be great ! I am open for all help and suggestions . Thanks to all who can help !
the best for striping is to practice, practice, practice!!! get yourself a 000 mack brush and some one shot and head over to www.pinheadlounge.com for some inspiration and some different styles. Remember when doing a curve to lift the brush and rotate while doing the turn, there are ALOT of great amazing stripers on here who are always willing to help
Thanks for the info !!!!! I have plenty of phone books , I see allot of stripers using them . I knew there was a reason for the phone book !!
LOL yeah they use them to "pallette and load" the brush, old car magazines or other glossy mags will work too
youtube.com can be a good source for pinstriping videos other than that, practice makes perfect if you have any questions feel free to pm me ill help ya all i can
For airbrushing, the folks on the general forum at http://www.airbrush.com/ are (for the most part) very helpful to beginners.
One of the best airbrushes on the market, at a reasonable price, is the Badger dual action, gravity feed, or bottle type. They have a little on demand compressor that is tankless. Their stuff is top notch.

I used those little home reality buyers guide books that are free at the supermarket for one-shot and a little Co2 tank for my airbrush as it is portable makes no noise and you don't need electricity or a water trap.
