Being Father's Day, I'm guessing some of you got left alone for once. So let's see how productive you were with all that time... I got my coupe in primer. I roughed in the body work and simply shot it gray. At least it's one color now... Vance

did a bunch of 'little' things that were just stupid & supposed to be easy like just mounting a better looking battery box & added a couple braces on the wishbone mounts etc... that ended up taking most the day. ----- mostly burnin time as a couple 'needed/ordered' parts just cant seem to get here.

I spent Saturday preping some parts for a trip to the powder coater. Sunday I planned to finish up. But we got a call from the couple that rents a house from us in Black Oak. Someone kicked in the front door while they were gone and took their computer and plasma TV. So I went out to secure the door and figure out the fix. Tomorrow I will go out with the right materials and tools and set it all right. Bummer.
Worked all day Saturday and almost all Sunday. (Real estate can be a bummer) Got home 3pm Sunday and looked at the old daily driver (30 year old Triumph sedan) red paint doesn't like Queensland sun and she looked pretty sad. Dug out the rubbing compound, paint cleaner and hard glaze and spent 3 hours hand rubbing back the paint job and making her glow again. Got up this morning and she looks great! Cheers, Glen.

Found a cheap fishing boat for my youngest brother and brought it home. Went to my youngest son's place for a nice steak supper Saturday nite.
