  17. Rod and Custom had an excellent T bucket issue in 73 or 74.Sorry I can't remember the month but it is worth tracking down if you are into T buckets.

Also, CC ran a series with plans for building a bucket from scratch in the early sixties, starting with welding up the frame. I think it was by Scritchfield...worth getting, a plain vanilla bucket build generally similar to the basic kits offered at the time.

Glad to be able to help. There were 3 or 4 copies on Ebay when I went looking to post that link, but they're all gone now!

Never mind, they do show up pretty regularly, I got my copy of that issue a few years back now. The October 1963 issue also has a great T bucket in it, the one that inspired me back in 63 when it was a brand new issue in my doctor's waiting room, and I was still in high school.

Check out the one in the yellow square on the front cover!

    Cheers, Glen.

This one is interesting as it has inside pipes.

This one is 60's, but I would say later 60's with the bigger tires and long nose. Not real representative of a 60's T but sure is cool.

This one is more early 60's than late. White pinstriping and smaller rear tires. It always amazes me to see cars in the old magazines with mixed wheels. Seems nowdays if your car doesn't have matching ultra $$$ wheels, there's no chace of getting some ink.
