When I asked Paul Reichlin how leather upholstery would hold up if it got wet his response was, "ever seen a cow?"

hey all,,,,just got off the phone with AMOCAT Steve...he just got back from the roadster show and hasn't been following all this. He asked me to reply to all who are planning on meeting up at AMOCAT Friday afternoon.

From reading all the posts,,,sounds like we should all plan on getting to the shop at around noon on Friday. That time IS a bit flexible,,,but not HOURS flexibe,,,dig??? After we are all set, we'll hit the back roads and roll down in style.

For the guys coming from the north,,(THE WORLD FAMOUS SWINDLERS, Old Beet, etc,),,,we can all meet at my place around 11 since i'm right off the freeway at northgate mall. or, you can just all be a bunch of sally bitches and roll solo....

any questions, hit me or steve up.

ok, back to figuring out how to put bucket seats in my car......

I'd like to meet up with the AMOCAT caravan......I'm between Spanaway and Roy, so I'm thinkin' I could join ya around Mckenna.....maybe the Jackpot gas station at the only light in town....or even the little gas station before McKenna at the blinkin' light along 702...would just need an @ time you guys think you'll be passin' through and I'll just tag along as ya pass by.:D

I think our goal is to not get on the five at all, find back roads like the old days before the interstates, not that we can't all run the five just that we don't want to. Half the fun of a show like this, or maybe most of the fun, is the road trip. I love two lane blacktop.

I agree! That is the route I wish to take, though I can't leave until Sat. AM.

Same here. Getting the car ready, loading the ipod, making a list of stuff to bring ( small list, gas money, food money, swag money, beer )

We are leaving Friday AM from Bend and heading over the pass to Salem...pit stop and then up the 5 to the Relax Inn and the kick off party. Its gonna be a long ass week waiting for this.

    Thanks Nine Inch.

I think I'll be taking the back highways down with a few others. You're certainly welcome to cut over from the 5. I'm sure that the PT crew will join you. Rich?

wow, only one week away... ya'll ready? ;D

Packing up Billetproof swag on this end. Going out to buy a PA system today as well (I need one, it will work out cheaper than renting in the long run).

I didnt get the Billetproof Mobile Chevy panel truck in shape to make the trip, so I gotta rent a mini-van or some such horrific thing to truck it up there.

    Getting excited on this end.

It has been too long. I can't believe that I was considering selling the Fairlane at one point. It is not going anywhere, anytime soon.

  27. I have to talk with nine-inch still, but right now planning to meet the Kitsap contingent at 0600. At this point I think it is just me and Steve in his 36. The Rakers show is that day so most locals will be going to that. Looking forward to it!

Steve and his '36, can't wait! Why can't you gold chainers leave on Friday? Like the rest of us now we're heading from my place just off your ferry toward the slow road. Call me!
