trial and error,,,




i lowered the back the other night,,,and adjusted the skirts


still needs to be lower

 

flush mount those skirts man...

 

definetly on the list!! along with many other things! i need to finish the chop first!

 

Sam,Will you be flush mounting the 49 / 50 skirts in the pic or 51s with the flare?

 

maybe i should clarify,,
when Speedaddict mentioned flushing them,i missunderstood,,he was talking about actually flushing them ,
when i read that last night i missunderstood as i have been talking about making them flush (straight across)at the bottom (like on the Barris merc),i wont be actually flush mounting them.

maybe later if i come across some 51 skirts ,but the plan is to just use what i have for now.

either way!The 49 or 50 skirts lok killer when ya give them the treatment.They are alot less money too.I just dropped 500 for a set of OEM 51s.I think Im gonna buy some 49 skirts now!

 

Bob go to youtube and type in **** dean and you will find out that Jeffs car was indeed his last chop. driprail or no driprail this car was chopped the way they were in 1949-1950. Its the cleanest chop that ive seen...

 

I finally got to see his interior at the LARS! What a beautiful job! I've loved his car since I first saw it. It is a really nice car,but I just prefer the raingutters.

Car looks awesome, I've been following this rear window discussion with great interest. I think if you are still on the fence, you should put that section into the same color primer and then see how you like it.
