I got a 53 chev hardtop with 78 camaro subframe. Currently running the camaro discs up front with the drums on the gm 10 bolt rear end. Have a manual m/c that has no proportional valving on it and the brakes wont lock up when pressed hard.

I ordered a new setup from master power with a 7 inch single diaphrahm booster, 1 inch bore m/c and combination valve. This was recommended by the MP tech guy.

My question is I am running a brake pedal ratio set up for a manual m/c at 6.25 to 1.

The tech guy at MP seemed to think that with the small sized booster the pedal ratio should work out. MP's website show you should have a 4 to 1 pedal ratio for power brakes so I was wondering what some of you guys think. Will this set up work correctly?

I'll bet with the unit from MPB it won't either. I know of at least two instances where their parts were replace by junkyard stuff in order to get thigs to work. Good luck

Try it with your current pedal ratio, might be a little sensitive. But if you couldn't lock em up now I would guess you will be OK.
