I didn't read all of what everyone else wrote but I have to say, I like it alot. This might be the first upgrade to a website that actually is a real improvement. Usually when a site claims it's "new and improved for you", it gets worse. Congrats on pulling that off (I guess that means that ebay is not going to come ask you to work for them anytime soon). PS: You need "BS" and "Build thread" headers though.
Ryan nice job! comes off clean and usable, functionality is more than a pourpose for hotrods and choppers ay? A cyber beer for you.
Ryan I am having trouble with enlarging most of the attachments (making the pictures larger) when I double click on most of them -- nothing at all happens -- where as before the changes -- I NEVER had a problem Have you heard this from anyone else ? Thanks in advance Art Austin
thanks for all the hard work! I'm sure the new changes will be fun. definitley a little bit more for everyone to enjoy.
i must say the best thing is that the whole thread is no longer streched out when some one posts a pic larger than screen size
I'm a simple, "back to basics" kinda guy.....I like manual steering and brakes in all my cars....no radio, extra stuff, etc.... No "FLUFF"..... When something gets too many features, whether it's a car, some electronic gadget, periodical, or forum, I tend to lose interest.....just too much to keep up with, and my free time is valuable...... Freinds??? Social groups??? **** man.....I just wanna build old cars.....
I can see where you are coming from... and agree to a point... That's why I made sure all of these features were opt in or out... You don't have to use any of them.
When I log on the the "new" HAMB it's bigger than my screen now, and I have to scroll side to side to view it all. Is that an improvement? Is that normal?
It looks great! But now I have to learn about these new features - I can't have new features and not know how to work 'em. It's kind of like tearing down an engine for the first time....got to know how everything works. Thanks Ryan!
That means your resolution is set at 800x600. We are now optimized for 1024x768 which is the most commonly accepted resolution these days.
After a couple of days to play with our new toy , I am suitably impressed ! Thanks for the untold hours you put into this site Ryan !
my searches have been throwin me to a"hamb error" page that i need to refresh .. is this the old AOL haunting me again? and some warnings at the top of the next pages /.. delinear 820 sumtin too OH YA I MISS MY RED MARK " FOR QUESTIONAL BEHAVIOR!"
I'd been holding out on changing my screen resolution for a long time. Now it's hard to read every other website in the world, but the HAMB comes through just fine....geez, the sacrifices I make.
Well I haven't had much time to play with the new setup. Been bussier than a one armed man at a circle jerk here at work. But I have to say that it looks good from where I sit. I've been meaning to drop everyone on my new friends list a note. Shouldn't take too long, as mine isn't real big. But that's not going to happen in the next day or so. So let me say this, I don't have a real extensive list but I got quality. Ya just can't ask for a better bunch than those that I have on my list. Thanks for the update Ryan (and The German) you're alright.
I'm kinda stuck in the fetal position right now...but don't draw that crime scene chalk outline just yet..this has happened before and I've always recovered.
Looks great with the "prefix" now at the end of the ***le, I guess you would call that a "postfix" now
I love the new layout... my only gripe is the bright *** red... gets a little hard on the eyes after a while
I agree with the boys, I like the prefix tags at teh end must better now. Thanks. Still would like 100 or more photos per album though.
