  2. ...great pics,...that white 50 Ford panel (on the interstate) belongs to a buddy of mine, it's an old California ex-Navy panel....the "FORD" letters on the front have been modified to say "DORK".

Megan and I make it a point of waving and smiling to all hot rods we see cruzn to and from events. As we were smiling and waving he gave us alittle "rap show". We also saw him cruzn in the event a few times. Very friendly fellow. The next time you see him let him you know the two chicks in the Olds convert.:D

We will make up for that in a couple of weeks in Salina, right? You do realize I'm attending that event to meet you and hang out with alot of my western Midwest HAMB buds. The thought of driving across IL, IA and NE again so soon makes me ill. I detest 80. You WILL be there right??;)

Looks like I have no choice. Can't believe you two are coming all the way back over here again, that deserves some kind of celebration !!! I admire you both for the miles you put on Big Olds criss- crossing the country. Gary

hey - it was cool to finally hang out with ya more than just a minute here or there - we see each other all over the country and yet rarely get to hang out - weird huh?

anyway - I hope to track ya'll down in Columbus - I will have the wife and kids with me this time so you will get a chance to meet them as well!

    Talk to ya soon

Pretty soon you will have enough pictures of me sleeping in Big Olds to make a book! It should be noted I ONLY sleep the last 2 hours of the drive back to Detroit so I can stay up for 3 more hours to drive to Ohio! :D (oh and BTW- that little blue pillow is USELESS and hot!)

I had a great time last weekend. Hey Denise, wanna do it again this weekend? :D

I am really looking forward to the KKOA Salina show but I too can't believe I am going back on 80 soon, I HATE that road!

I certainly can't blame you for hating I80!
I know a big part of going to Salina is having Big Olds down there, but you two could always just fly into Omaha and ride down there with me. Just a thought. :) ...especially since you'll be coming this way again just three weeks after KKOA Salina.

Either way, it'll be a great time!

The 59 EL Camino belongs to Hub Harness from Wichita Ks. He's had it since 1983 and its been RED since 1984. It has a 348 with six carbs. You can see it or his other Kustom a 1960 Buick in Salina,Ks in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the pics Denise. I didn't take any this whole weekend. I'll have to save some of yours for myself. Too bad the fireworks shots didn't turn out so well. The ones with Big Olds' nose sticking out woulda been cool.

Thanks so much for all of the hospitality. The bbq was great. Thanks also for sharing your sparklers since I forgot mine:( What would the 4th (or in this case the 5th) be without them?!?!

Will I be seeing you in Columbus this weekend?

Nice to meet some of the Hamb folks, great event. Denise, thanks for taking photos, but I must protest the obvious photoshop graying of my beard. I'm only 18!! But then it looks like I wasn't the only target..................

The weather could NOT have been any more perfect. I hope the same holds true for Salina in a couple of weeks.

Not only was I drooling over the wagon but so was everyone else. You did an awesome job and should be very proud. I'm looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks and spending alittle time together chatting.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday and meeting the family.

    I agree, it was awesome.

Yep, another opportunity to grope each other huh?:D

WOW, look who crawled outta the woodwork. Good seeing ya again bud, it's been awhile.

Yeah, probably should have used a tripod for those ones. Next year, we'll park in the exact same spot for the fireworks and we'll try those shots again with the proper equipment.

THANK so much for hosting the BBQ. I had a blast. Lori is so cool. PLEASE finish her ride so she can hit the road once in awhile with us gals. Looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend.

IF I knew how to use photoshop I'd do more then give ya a grey beard at this point.:D
