Fabulous show, everyone! Thought I'd share a couple cartoons I did for ISCA many years ago. I think (if you can read them) you'll find Your far from alone when it comes to putting up with the parasites who try and take advantage of us happy-go-lucky artsy types!

  3. Been doing mostly grunt work this week;repairing stripes for body shops and a lettering job on an 18 wheeler.Did get a nice surprise in the mail yesterday that I had purchased from the Classifieds. If you would like to see more pics of it,check out my Pinhead Lounge site(link @ bottom of page).Still in the process of cleaning it up a bit and doing some research on the company.

Hey Safariknut, you're using one of those old water color tins for your brushes? I just got one a couple weeks ago after I posted a thread about it. Nice!

  6. No I'm not but it would be a great idea. There are two of them in this kit and they still have the paint trays in them. This kit will not be used but rather displayed with some of my vintage painting equipment. As far as I can determine it was built in the 1920's and has a bunch of old equipment inside including MANY lettering brushes. Some of the brushes I will be using.

I was considering having a replacement handle made for it by a friend who does great leather work but was talked out of it.Decided it should remain as found.Spent a bunch of time tonight cleaning off all the brushes and only had to discard two.

Boy I sure wish this one could talk;I bet it would have some great tales to tell!
