I dont think i can make it anytime soon Steve. Im so sorry. I wish I could be over there all the time but I have alot of shit going on till september.
no problem nick, i will miss you, though... today, i'm taking the axles over to get the bearings pressed on and pick up some other parts...
Sorry Steve, didn't notice this thread until today. I'm out block sanding on my pile today, I'm hoping to make the HAMB Drags too, but I don't know if it will be running in time.
Wish I was there... Hell... Wish I was going to the HAMB Drags too... The wife is less than two weeks from giving birth to my boy so I don't really get to go anywhere lately (shrug). I'l see ya'll sometime in September. Good luck at the drags and make sure there is some new video of Zorba's Ghost posted up on line ASAP
there has been some progress, kingchassis was here early in the week and installed the center section (3.42 posi!). sunday, ajs88 swapped the backing plates, installed the axles, and ate pizza. i helped eat pizza and drank a few beers, cuz' i'm good at that. i might try to work some evenings the next couple of weeks, tue & thurs this week, mon & wed the week of the 28th. there's lots of little stuff still to do, but if we don't make it to the hamb drags, there's always the pileup!
