My son has the 1970 ROD SHOP Cuda ( body shell only , chassis was removed and installed under a Dodge body when Rod Shop switched over to Dodges in 1971 ) Anyone have any original photos of this car when it was running ?????

Nice! I think my Dad has one of it at Indy. I'll have to find out.

It'll be to cool to see it back to it's former glory.

Did your son build the current chassis it's sitting on or did he find a vintage one for it?

Whatever. It's still bitchin. When I owned my '65 Impala I never posted pics because of the "too new" thing. Then after I sold it, I saw a thread of '65 - '66 Impalas. Seems there are people on here that also appreciate newer than '64 cars as well.

Used a 1937 dodge chassis just to roll it around.

Sorry about the car being too new...I,m new to HAMB and I didn't realize that the cut off date for cars is '64

I wouldn't worry about it. That's a recognizable nostalgia drag car. Very cool in my book.

  8. Kinda a loose rule when it comes to something cool like this. Check this out if you have about two days to kill.

I saw it last year at the HHR in Columbus. Not that this helps you. I checked the mags I have from around that time and sorry, I didn't find anything on it.

Don't know if this is of any help or even about the right car but the July 1971 issue of Car Craft has an article entitled "The Rod Shop Goes Dodge for 1971". Found it on the auction site. Oh, and welcome to the HAMB
