Brought forth from the black hills.Next week is offically one year since it made it home from Crazy D's place in So.Dak. My goal was to be driving it by now but working on others stuff and life gets in the way once in awhile.

The chassis is done and ready for disasembly and prepp'in for shiney.Gotta mount the grille shell and a few odds and ends.My plan is to strip the body and epoxy rimer it and hope to drive it to the pileup in Oct.Then this winter lift the body and make it shiney to match the chassis.

This is how she looked a year ago.........

Thanks Jimmy and all others for the comments. After seeing our mutal friend Bass' car a few years ago at the Pileup I sent the roadster truckdown the road I had about finished and went coop hunting.I gotta split my time between it and bikes I am building. So its a juggling act once in awhile, but I am gonna finish this one instead of selling before its done.May never sell it who knows. Not the plan as of now.

As far as he headers I built them for short drives and around the area.Long drives will call for some under car muffled headers.Should be a quick swap as long as they dont interfere with the a/c brackets and pulley........HAHAHAHA

Stop being a pussy and chop it! It's not like you need the head room or anything!

    :) :) :)

Seriously, it looks great so far...I think you're gonna like driving it with the Hemi and stick.

Its a tube deal.Jerry Bickel style.I built the car so if I wanted to race it I could.Nine inch,Moser axles all the good stuff.I am gonna give the anti roll bar a try.Just couldnt take how much roll it appeared to have and I had a set up like this on my SS/Gt car I sold awhile back.It can be run disconnected if need be for street driving.

I will keep ya posted once I getter fired up..

Nice work (and quick too !!) I don't suppose you ended up with any spare rear 1/4 parts (I'm looking for the section along the trunk sides as mine were trucked, funny how that rhymes with.....). I love where the back tires are located too I like em being in the right position to follow the body line.
