it tossed my lunch off my desk here at work ( downtown LA ) HA, I was more pissed then scared, OK, I was scared...man this place shakes a lot.
i was sitting in a customer car holding the engine at raised rpm when the thing started to get all wobbly. i thought...oh great...thi thing is going south....made sure it was in park, brought the engine down and its still shaking... so i step out of the car and i'm shaking...i figgered it was my past coming back to haunt me and i was having an 'episode'...untili looked over and saw the other cars in the shop oscillating too...then i remembered...i live in california.
Just talked to my dad and he is ok, just shook the hell out of everything he said. Hope all others are ok
That was wild. No damage. Ground felt like jello for about 15 20 seconds. One thing fell off a shelf.
man i dont know how you guys can put up with that ****..must be true what they say about those california girls..because i know that would be the only reason i would stay in a state that burns, shakes, and mud slides so dam much
ok in Malibu, felt like the building was going to shake off the cliff, I have family in Ontario, looks like there are a bunch of aftershocks going on. http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/Maps/Los_Angeles.htm
Yeah Chris! That wasn't too far from you! You must have got a good shake up there. I was walking to my car and all of a sudden I thought maybe I had a drunk spell or something! HAHAH! Shook things up pretty decent down here, but no damage at all...

I never thought an earthquake in Cali would actually make news with the "locals". Just the rest of the country.
Rocked pretty good in Thousand Oaks, seems like it lasted almost a minute. We had several cars on hoists, they just swayed around a bit. All is well. I heard it was centered in Chino Hills better than 7 miles deep.
