How abut the most powerful internal combustion engine in the world today. The Wartsila NSD (Sulzer) RTA96-C two-stroke diesel engine. Bore of just under 3'2", stroke of just over 8'2". Available in 6 through 12 cylinder versions (all inline). Maximum continuous power of 89,640 HP is obtained at 100RPM with the 12 cylinder version. Maximum economy power of 53,244 HP is obtained at 90 RPM. The engine exceeded 100,000 horsepower during overspeed testing (all of 101.5 RPM!) while under test at Japan's Diesel Union works (who also built the first engines and from who these pictures are taken).

I don't 'have' to respect anything.

Its not the only picture of a NEW Vette I found in this thread, and the other guy did catch any slack for it. For one I respect the HAMB but the thread says clearly "cool pictures", not "1964 and older cars in ""cool pictures"" For two its not just a Vette its a $100,000 ZR1 Vette. LOL

    Thanks Though

  26. What is it with these picture threads? Any fucked up off topic shit seems to get posted!!!

And Silveradoman4, you too, are you nuts? This is a tradional hotrod and custom site.

  27. That's hilarious, especially the sign. But I'd rather not have seen it.

  28. Respect? that is funny, every BALD doctor/dentist/attorney I know has a new vette (ZR1 or NOT), All it takes is plastic to buy plastic!

Now these require some ingenuity, assembly and attention. One of the sedans has been sold, making room for the next rusty set of rails.

Wow I'd totally forgot about seeing that truck at the worlds fair back in '86. Thanks for sharing that.
