Was out dinking around with a small spray gun just playing..but i found a color im kinda liking, what are your thoughts? I know she needs body work and some cleaning up..I was just trying to get a feel for the color. My idea is to go with Black Metal flake Trim (heavy Flake) Black Metal Flake Fenders, Splash pans and accents, and the body in this color with the flip for the interior..black with this orange sunburst metalic as the accents on the inside..maybe a cream fire wall?..any one with a good eye for this combo?
Thanks Tman well I think early 70's is cool //I was kinda shooting for late 60's like 65 ,,68..but they kinda ran togeather there didnt they?.
Thanks Guys..I kinda like it too. It has a very small metal flake in it..Im thinking of adding some different sized flake..maybe 2 more different sizes. whats a good fire wall color combo? and possible stripe?
it looks rad, i dig that orange,, but honestly i wouldnt two tone it id do it all that sunburst orange. my two cents,
Not sure yet..havent decided..probably glossy..im thinking that would keep with the late 60's theme..(if i stay that route). Im thinking the Metal Flake Black accents and Fenders will break it up some..I think if i did it all in that color ,alot of the 28's details and body lines will get lost .
Hey thanks for that picture,, although it is 32 it gives me the eye on what a bright white fire wall will look like..sharp car
Looking for some sunday morning ideas..anyone have a feel for a stripe color..or 2 color stripe? would Metal flake black fenders be cool or just go straight Gloss Black no flake?
It looks good to me, but I'm really partial to anything that's gold or copper. What's the name of the color and the manufacturer as I have been trying to decide on a color for my own car - not that I'm going to copy you or anything.
The trial was called Orange Mist (M) 8800503 ..Im going to see if i can get it crossed into a PPG product paint.. Im thinking i got the code from Dupla-color?..not really sure on that. i have a paint chip that i went from.
