Well, I picked up Project 29 from my Dad's on the weekend. It came home - its new home and my new home! The dirt is from Dad's driveway. I washed it off (shame on me) and tucked it into bed! We live in a commercial warehouse with a 2 bedroom apartment above. Parking for 4-5 cars and a project Setting up a workshop and also got my magazine and model car collection sorted.
THANKS! We built a big mezainine to house the magazine and model car collection on top and put the car parts and workshop underneath
beautiful truck, tastefully done. i tried to talk my wife into the big metal building and apartment deal. she didnt buy it.. i still got my shop though. nice set up
You've got a beautiful MAN-SPACE there! Your truck is the icing the cake. If you have a bathroom and a cooler, there really is no reason to leave...
foreverfour, love your truck, very nice garage setup, what is the sheving system you have your magazines stored in. thanks. Al.
Project?.........I thought you said project. Nice workshop. I need to set up something for my mags, books and special stuff. Trouble is my shed is just a shed, hot, cold, damp (not wet). No good for all that stuff Pete
Yeah sorry, Project 29 was something we built at the New Zealand Hot Rod Magazine - it was one of our project cars - www.nz-hotrod.com Thanks Al, I like the roadster thats in your avatar! The shelving system came from Bunnings or Mitre 10 Mega - hardware like Home Depot. The shelving hammers together - email me at greg@nzhotrodmag.co.nz if you want close up shots I have a cooler and a microwave and I am sure there are times that my girlfriend wishes I was down there for good! HAHA! She has a 65 Mustang with World heads on a 289 that she drives to work every day! Thanks mate! Keep talking her into it! I was thinking about this and it was my girlfriend that suggested we do it - I dont need to be told twice on this!
Here is a link to the Project build - a full blog is coming soon: http://www.nz-hotrod.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1643
That's the type of space I have considered. A huge shop with a little living space on top. Then comes the divorce.
Deuce project is slow I also have a T project and a dragster project Tossing up wether to build a T speedster or a T Tourer
I've always dreamed about doing a warehouse with a suspended living space above one end. Almost had the wife talked into it but couldn't find a prospect when we were looking to buy or build a new place. Ended up with a really nice home in the country with a 40X80 two story shop so I'm not about to complain. Frank
