'preciate you taken the time to post all those picks..... but you got to realize billet is not real popular on this site.

Was the attendance down as bad as everyone thought it would be? Hear the final count?

Actually billet is not my favorite either! I was just giving a general prospective on the whole show. As far as the total cars, 10, 700+, so i guess the high price of gas, didn't stop most. As for the spectators, friday was not as crowded as usual, but saturday was crowded just like saturday usually is. Indoor vendors were just a little less than last year but it was not like the outside swap meet area. I say it was about 40-50% less than last year. I have been going to the nationals for 10 years now, i still have never bought anything in the vendors area. Way too high on stuff there, not like the Frog Follies in Evansville, in, where it is cheaper.

We had been every time the Nationals has been Louisville (since '88 I think) and REALLY hated to miss for the first time this year. I've bought a couple of small things here and there but like you said prices are way too high. I shoot for HotRodHotline.com so i'm usually too busy to spend much time in the swap meet anyway. Yes, Frog Follies will be much better. Prices are starting to rise there but still affordable.

John's my brother and honestly the reason I'm into rodding. His Frazer has a hand made bed with a 40's era set of truck fenders and the interior of the bed is mostly S10. All in all, it's pretty col and will be REALLY cool whne he gets it in paint.

Nope. It's the OG Frazer ch***is. I know he did have to modify the center cross member when he swapped out the two piece drive shaft and went with a one-piece unit.

And yeah, it's an attention *****, especially now that it's one color!

Ok. I've had a bunch of people ask me when they see the pic from a year ago. Most guess it's a chevy cab with a _______ (several different ideas there) frontend but then they get to the bed and it has them scratching their head. It's great he had the vision to pull off something like that!!!!
It does look a bunch better all one color!!!

    Thanks for the info.

    Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.
