Chris, Great pictures thanks for the ride from the hotel on Saturday morning. I could have used another one on Saturday night because I ended up waking up on Sunday morning in a different hotel. I LOVE HOT ROD-A-RAMA!
Thanks for the pics Chris. Looks like Denise and I may need to add a PNW show to our itinerary next year!
DO IT! The PNW has so much to offer! The cars are top notch and the people are awesome! Offen overlooked. And theres always something fun going on...as long as the snow is gone
How do you get yourself into these perdi***ents....Oh yeah, TYLER Glad we all hung out and had a good time! God may the be a HRAR next year!!!!!!
John's Dad bought it in 1963 (?) from Austrailia. It had a rebuilt engine in it,never run. The car was half apart, and his Dad pushed it to the back of the shop for a future project. I don't know why, but the car never got touched. a couple months ago, John asked if my Dad and I could help him try to get it started. It only took about 1/2 hour and it was off! John then decided that it would be sweet to get it together for HRAR! The thrash bash begain and they were finishing up some loose ends Thursday night before we left! The car runs EXCELLENT, and all of the hard to find RHD parts were there. John added the tires/wheels, chopped windshield, hedlights, rear coverand dash. He also painted it one color, other than that, it was pretty much as-was. If you look at the pic of the interior, you can see how different Australian bodys were. They are a wood based structure, like a "T". See the inside of the door??
That's my buddy Gup's Model A. There's a pic of the back side of the coupe in my photo section on my profile. Thanks.
ahhhhhh hahahahahaha!!!!! hey, i didnt get him in the perdicament alone, i was there too, and acouple blondes. ya, it was their fault, not mine. that's my story and i am sticking to it!!! every time i woke up i was somewhere different in their room.
Excellent choice in cars... I love the phaetons, and the '40 delivery, and the '40 pickup, and... Any more photos of the yellow chanelled 5-window next to the gold A?
