Was gonna wait till illtake some new pics but ill just used the old ones, I just picked up this 53 chevy last saturday from leadsled53. I tried buying the car in January when i sold my 54 merc but i saw it on ebay recently so i gave him a call, agreed on price and met him it east Hartford ct and drove it home from there.

The car has 3'' chop, frenched '54 chevy headlights and tailights, nosed and decked, door handles removed, frenched antenna, added 4 extra teeth, electric doors and then painted original two tone sungold yellow and ivory. It has a 350/350 with a camaro rear, c notched frame, with lowered leafs with 2in blocks, and cut coils in the front.

for the most part im going to leave it alone just maybe do a couple odds and ends and thinking about putting my 53 fiesta olds hubcaps on it with 6 spinners, and maybe appleton spot lights...or just work a couple small bugs out and drive it

wut u guys think? iv been doing sum buying and selling but id say this is a keeper, never would of thought a couple years ago id have something like this at age 20

Isn't that the car our own Gl***guy did the chop on??
THAT car is a PERFECT example of how to to build a smooth, clean sled..
And aside from the Moonglow, is also one of my personal favorites.
    Congrats..

Did my first in the front seat of a 53 hardtop when I was a Senior in high school.(Got a late start) My favorite late model. Maybe someday I'll find another nice one. (car)

nice car. spots would be a nice addition. chop seems kind of flat to me. Odd lines. Have fun with it.

  25. Sweet ride...appletons and fiestas would be the icing on top...if that was mine I would waste a lot of time staring out the window at it...nice score
