Fin Cars! Stock or Custom, show 'em! - Picture thread

I don't believe there is a dedicated Fin-Car picture topic already.

So here we go, Show your, or some Fin-cars!


I'll start with my own '60 Chrysler NewYorker, aka The Green Monster...








I bought the car late December '06 in South Carolina, shipped it home and rebuild the entire drivetrain with new bushings and stuff.
The original 413 had spun a rod-bearing so the engine was replaced by a somewhat temporary 496" engine I already waiting build on the stand. The tranny also got swapped for a '64 unit, and because I had to have an emergency brake again, the rearaxle got exchanged for a '67 model aswell.

The motor received a vintage dual carb long crossram-intake system, which I had bought on a swapmeet in Phoenix, Az somewhere around '98.
Finally, after 10 years of 'shelf-life' the intake system found some use again.

 

Here's another fin car of mine;
It's a '57 4-dr Hardtop Plymouth Belvedere.
Obviously a project-car.







In the last pic you can just see the fin of a '59 Dodge. Not mine though.

I've posted this a bunch of times, but not in a dedicated thread to finned cars. It's a '56, the first year for fins on Plymouths. It's on its way to the Netherlands as I type this.

Here's my '63 Merc. I'm starting to get a bit of "fin envy".

 

I can't help but think this one should be in the running...should be at least one finned imperial on the thread...Couldn't find any pics of our pink '59:

Someone already posted my '57 Plymouth 2dr wagon. This is the real project though. Not an ounce of rust in the entire car. I love it.
