Where : Macungie, Pa - Annual Wheels of Time Show
Meet: 12:00 noon at the flag pole..then get some food

For this month it looks like alof of H.A.M.B'rs are planning on heading to the Wheels of Time show. I try to do the s****ple meet and the end of each month so I figured what the hell...what not just have it at the show since its near the end of the month anyway..I was probably going to go myself. In Sept. we'll tour my buddy's hot rod shop.

I hear this is a super nice event....good food, swap meets,music, and alot of great cars. Yea...you're gonna see the $10,000 paint job cars but who cares...save the PM's...it will be a good time and I'm sure there will be a variety of rides. We'll meet at the flagpole at noon, then head for some food. I don't know where the flagpole is at to be honest. ( I was told by another H.A.M.B'r that in previous years they met at one there)..but I'll find it.

Directions:
From RT I-78 take RT 100 south for 8 miles. You will be in Macungie at that point and you cannot miss us, as the show is right in the center of town and all traffic leads to the Rod & Custom Jamboree. From the south, take RT 100 north and at Shimersville take the left turn following RT 100 down the hill into Macungie. Looks like this is one I can make.

 

As long as your meeting there at noon you might as well stay and here the bands on sat. night.Flamin' **** and the Hot Rods and The Road Hogs.Two of the best rock and roll and rockabilly bands around.

 

Yeah...Flamin **** is a good band, funny name, good band

 

Like I said VIA PM, I'll be there. My friend's live right next to the show, so I might be able to arrange a parking spot for a few of you (free!).

The flagpole is at the intersection of all the through-roads in the park, you'll see it.

Should mention though, I think 12 on sat is when they normally have the flamethrowers and muffler rapping.

I wish I could make this one. Looks like I have a wedding that day though. 3 weddings in like 5 weeks this summer.

I looked at the website, and it looks like they don't fill up and turn cars away anymore. I never went there years ago because of that.

c,ya at the show. the VFW serves good food and beer right across the street from the show..........and they let you in while the show is going on.

Well I can't make it. I am at the gate in the Flea Market then taking spectator admissions. I am at the 'Door Prize' Pavilion. All day Friday, Sat. morning and Sunday morning. Stop and say Hi!

Finally, I will be in attendance for S****ple-Fest.
