English wheel??? What one did you get?

Did you wind up getting a good neutral flame going?

    todays progress,,,
trimmed/fitted up the inner fenders, cut down the radiator bracket, bolted the nose together,,,removed the front pan, bumper brackets.......everything fits great so far,,,,,the only major cutting left to do is the sectioning of the passenger door...the front will be getting a rolled pan, and some bullet bumpers similar to the rear of the car,,,hard to translate into words, but ill do a mock up in the next couple of days....

chad s,,,,,,,,,,here's a picture of my wheel...

Got your note. The dash and wheel are long gone. i'd freaking GIVE them to you if I still had them. This car rocks. Ridiculous amount of work that you make look easy.

haha i wish my build was goin... me and my bro bought a 54 ford 4 door with some shoddy custom work already done to it, and its closer to bein on the road so the chevy took a back seat.. We are tryin to get the 54 ready for brookyln, only needs a little more, then we will probably sell it. Dunno what to do with the chevy either, i love the body style, but ours might just be too far gone, it needs EVERYTHING haha.

I don't know if this interests you, but if your fins are not yet secured, they can be used as
female molds for 'glass repros. I simply applied a release agent inside, laid up a resin coat, then, laminated with cloth/mat coats. The fin shape allows for easy release. (Not sure about your mods, tho.)

Steel is real, of course, but who knows? It's cheap, quick, and easy; and you might be glad you've got them.

P.S. Stude used to offer plastic Hawk fins in their catalog.

And while you're at it, you can make the top removable. :D
