We took the Essex to the Downtown Car Show in Winnipeg yesterday. Great show, lots of stuff to see and do, and we finally met some of the Manitoba HAMB members! Ran into Canuck, Slow64, and Cornfield Cadillac. Nice to meet you guys!

Here's some of the more HAMB-friendly stuff that was there.

  4. If I remember correctly the candy orange 55 belongs to the infamous Cap'n Bud.......of 5-6-7 fame.

  6. Excellent pics Al! How'd you get a picture of that tourquise F-100 without all the "bug guts" that're usually on it?? Great to finally meet you face to face and hope you had a good trip back home...

That was a pretty cool '55. Loved the colour, and the 70's interior in it was wild!

Thanks! Great meeting you too! Don't know about the bugs on the F-100, just pointed the camera at it and shot the photo. LOL
The trip home was ok, but I may have a bad u-joint. It started making funny noises when I took my foot off the throttle on the highway. Guess I have to crawl under it tomorrow and pull it apart to have a look.

Haha! I was thinking the same thing as I walked around the show. I've never seen so many sets of Keystone Classics in one place before! I remember they were quite popular around here in the 70's.
