i just heard about this also. the budy that told me asked if berine mac was in the shaft remake with sam jackson. he figured after mr mac and mr hayes sam would be next. rip... "what i'm just talken 'bout shaft"

 

Can't say I care much. He was a hypocrite in my book. He was happy as a pig in shit to cash his South Park paychecks while they blasted Judaism and Christianity....but when they went after his beloved scientology (note lack of capital S) he had to take a stand against it.

Now Bernie Mack I am sorry to hear about losing him. He was one funny S.O.B. RIP Bernie.

I agree. Guy did South Park all those years and then couldn't take a joke about scientology when they did an episode on it and quit. Very few people would remember him today if it weren't for his South Park gig.

I guess he's flying around next to Lord Xenu right now in a galactic space cruiser that looks like a DC-8 but with rocket engines.

 

RIP Mr. "Hot Buttered Soul", Issac Hayes. You too, Bernie Mac, you were funny and clean!

I couldn believe it when i heard Bernie Mac died but then to wake up & hear Issac Hayes did too is f@cking too much. Its a huge blow to the entertainment biz. I'm a big fan of his & have everyone of his albums. One of my bestfriends got to tour with him years ago & established a friendship with him. He was a really kool guy & will be greatly missed in the music biz for sure!!

 

Its sad to see em go! God Speed and all our prayers.......

I highly recommend seeing the Wattstax '72 movie... Isaac was at the top of his game... A true rockstar with stye that would put today's rap guys to shame.

I mean Isaac Hayes, Isaac your bartender from the Loveboat was in it too, but, he was pretty much at the bottom of his.

Bernie Mac had a talent for making people laugh. Gone at 50, just way too young for any person to go. Condolences to his family and his little girl who will grow up without him.

I will admit that I didn't have much of a life before the computer, and now I just spend all my time on the HAMB but, I still think it's a bit of a stretch. Oh well, to each his own. It is sad but, will this degenerate into multi-page threads each time we lose a great singer or comedian or actor or director.
