Event Coverage Rolling Bones Roadtrip update #2

Sorry, no pics but heres an update...
Keith and Ken kept rolling this morning while some of the "tourists" stopped at Speedway and took a wirlwind tour thru the museum. They headed out about 4pm to make a banzai run to North Platte NE. tonight.

It was great to meet some of the guys. I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone, but will catch up with them on the Salt on Sunday.

The bus was a group of guys (in the smaller group pic) from Michigan, also on their way to Bonneville.

Kennedy called earlier from Kansas. He is with Poteet's crew coming from Holly Springs, MS.

Looking to meet up with the Rollin' Bones crew on Friday on the salt.

Hi Harrison, I was over in June and went out to the Kennedy place to see them, they didn't tell me they were going up to the salt with George, damn, I'd of asked for a ride! If you speak to him again wish him all the best from Keith and his ol' 34.

Thanks for the updates Green Mtn Boy, keep'em comin', and for the pics Malcolm. Speakin' of cool, their ride might get a bit chilly. Cold front moving into southern WYO and into Colorado tomorrow/Friday. High temps in Rawlins might not get much into the 70s tomorrow/Friday. Temps in No. Colorado supposed to be in the 60's Friday and Saturday.

For anybody coming across from the east on I70 and planning to go over the hill through the Eisenhower tunnel (11,000 feet), they're saying rain/snow in foothills, and snow around 10,000 feet on Friday/Saturday. BUT.....Wendover is looking good so far. That's what the weather reports are stating, but who trusts weather forecasts??!!! Travel safe.

Yep, it's a Man-A-Fre intake on a BBC with 4 Rochesters (I think)... Way cool!

Great shots Nick, what a bunch of nice cars and nice people. Sorry I couldn't do the Speedway tour. I am glad I got to shake some hands and wish the east coast crews a good trip. Man, I just wanted to fall in line and head west--Sololobo

My son and I got to watch them roll by Kearney, they came by about 5 o clock, made sure we drove the 54 gmc and my son was jumping up and down in the bed as they all zoomed by. Was not able to get any pictures as they were rollin on down the road pretty quick.

Haha... I don't know, but he took an extra long lunch break and had to get back to work!
