Dumb question... why were you surprised? Didn't they tell you it would be in their ad? Didn't they give you some $$$ for using the photo? Gary

Better to toot your own horn, than blow your own - well, you know!

That's a stunning work of art, plain and simple. I absolutely love that car!

steve did a killer job throwing that thing together. i'm pretty proud to say that he did what he did on it for me!! our minds are in-sync aesthetically and when we aren't strangling each other over a few ****tails we can collaborate on some pretty fun projects!

when Brookville were ramping up on there new catalog and advertising program we were more than happy to supply the photography. They have been very supportive of TRJ and we thought it was a good way to say thanks and also to hopefully help their corporate look.

some of you may not have noticed but this is the same car, minus body and doo-dads that we just flat-towed to the Street Rod Nats in Louisville, Kentucky behind Steve's roadster. you can read more about it here....

thanks for all the compliments on the car. sometimes its hard to believe its mine. i'll try to keep you guys updated on its progress at Totally Custom.

    thanks,

Thanks again for everything Geoff! I have to ADD this.... When Geoff asked me to come up and go over the build and look and see what the real deal was, Me and Notch bounced up to S.F in the truck. Geoff really didnt have anything for the car, i was really skeptical on building it,, 3 WEEKS! F@!# ing CRAZY,, you have nothing! soo were talking and talking, WEre like Were'd Notch! go! we walked outside,, Notch has half the **** loaded in the bed of my truck... Every time in my Life Notch has always been the one to push me. Guess you juts had to be there

  21. Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate them. The real credit however goes to the crew at Custom Auto in Loveland Colorado. They turn out some truly outstanding work.

I'm fortunate to live close enough to have developed a great working relationship and friendship with a really great buch of guys.

    Johnnie.

  29. Steve,

Not to turn this into a mutual admiration society, but, I've got your AV-8 Rodders Journal centerfold tacked up on my shop wall too. Great minds I guess........
