Although i dont feel guilty, i think he was refering to us ( all the west side dudes etc).
I had prior commitments or i might have made the journey.
Maybe next year we can herd them to the west side of town??

    Nice group of cars !!!!
Lets plan on next year feeding them at Bubbas ......:D

Thanks for posting the link. Great pics of a really neat car. I didn't believe you when you said it had a big block in it - didn't think it was possible. Anyone know where Russell's knees go when he's driving?

  5. Does it sound dirty if I say that last night I sat in the Camel Toe car and it felt good? While the other cars were neat, too, Poteet's was my favorite.

Hey all. Here are some photos of the Rolling Bones road trip to Bonneville - the Nebraska leg. Malcolm met the group in Omaha and led the way to Lincoln and Speedway Motors.

The steering set-up on this one was amazing:

This little coupe was just full of engine:

A group from Michigan happened to be heading to Bonneville as well and by some strange coincidence, knew the Rolling Bones. They were driving a 1948 Studebaker bus. This was it's maiden voyage.

It was a pleasure to talk with you guys (Jerry, Marco, Ron, Terry, John and Corey.)

After a quick visit to Speedway's parts counter, the Rolling Bones were ready for a tour of the Smith Collection Museum of American Speed.

Have a safe trip gang. Thanks for stopping in Lincoln on your way to the salt flats!

  11. Really great photos, I was lucky enough to see the folks at a gas up stop in Omaha where they hooked up with Malcolm for the Speedway tour leg. The hot rods were some awesome builds and real super cool folks. I'm wishin I was there. Sure enjoyed my brief brush with the gig-Sololobo
